Plexus Realty has been in business in the Triangle for nearly 25 years and was started by Rob Neal and Rick Wellington. Plexus has been a member in good standing of the National Association of Realtors, the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors and of the Triangle MLS since their beginning.

Mr. Neal and Mr. Wellington have been responsible for ongoing agent training, as well as company marketing, web development, and expansion. Rob was an agent with Re/Max Property Associates for 7 years, and Neal, Randle and Wilson for 3 years. Rick worked with Howard Perry and Walston for 5 years locally and in Denver, CO. Both men have earned awards from local builders, the Home Builder's Association, the Sales and Marketing Council, and the Triangle Business Journal.

The company's original mission was to brand itself as the first and only real estate firm specializing in Triangle area Condos and Townhomes. They achieved this goal within the first 5 years by attracting more than 10,000 monthly visitors to the company website and achieving roughly 10% of all Condo and Townhome sales with a mere .002% of the area’s agents! They then moved to expand the company by offering specialty services in Land, Investments, Commercial Properties, Farms, and Single-Family Homes.

Mr. Neal and Mr. Wellington have never felt that real estate is a large-company oriented business recognizing that all transactions begin between clients and a single agent. Working to build confidence, a sense of security and a solid relationship of representation is the only real way a transaction goes best. This one-on-one ideology has been accomplished by providing and requiring all its sales experts to retain certifications in their chosen areas of expertise.

The result is a sustainable business model which can be duplicated in other areas. Mr. Neal and Mr. Wellington have successfully proven that the specialty model is profitable and produces a highly enriching result for its clientele.
